Shouldn't the term "known sex offender" be an oxymoron?
Just a thought.

Do You Believe Most JWs Follow Their Own Rules About Sex?
by minimus inor do you think they try to follow the rules?

Sheila and I decided soon after we were married that our intimacy and the aspects of it were nobody's business, but our own. I figure it is the same for many others.
I always wondered why there were so many detailed rules and regulations for everything from soup to nuts. I think it is a control issue. If you're so busy scanning a list of rules before you make a move, you don't have time to question the need, basis or value of the rules.
My feeling on the "oral and anal" stuff has always been that the "Org" related such practices to homosexuality and thus forbade even married couples from making their own choice as to wether or not it was all right for them.
Jesus said "Love God and love your neighbor". Thats enough for me. What we do in the bedroom doesn't hurt anyone, and quite often "God" is even mentioned by one, if not both of us.

Women don't lie and men don't listen
by Maverick instole the line from doc love.
but it is true.
women will tell you all kinds of things about how they think and what they feel but the average man is too hung up in his own wants and ego to listen.. i will pick just one thing to use as an example.. when the woman you are with talks down to you or throws out a zinger at your expense she is telling you she has contempt for you and no respect!

When a woman is happy with what you are doing they will never go there. They will never try to make you look stupid!
Like we need any help in that department!
By the way Mav, while I can't relate to the former aspect of your post,I agree with latter.

As Sheila was so nice to point out, I am very opinionated as to what "is" art and what isn't.
I can understand the differet interpetations of reality that lead to differing styles, but for me the determining factor that makes a work "art" is wether or not it took talent to create it.
If it looks like a cat ran across a palette, walked over a canvas and then chummed a furball on it, then it ain't art.
It takes talent to make an apple look like an apple.

Liesh went to the mirror, wiped the fog off the glass, and proceeded to inspect her reflection. She appeared to be searching for some flaw she hadn?t noticed before. I saw none. Her reflection was but the mirror image of perfection. She was the definition.

I do think it was one of my better lines though.

So what one thing INTERESTING happened to you in the last 24 hours.....
by ScoobySnax inok freeze frame today.......out of all the interactions with others and goings-on, was there anything remotely interesting that happened to you today?
today is probably a typical day, in your probable and predictable all too short life.... this 24 hours was probably similar to yesterday and maybe similar to tommorow.
but i want to know what was the most interesting thing that happened personally to you.

I went to register for my college classes and was told that my identity could not be confirmed. My student aid was on hold until my transcripts arrived and could be verified. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until July now to start school.
I'm wondering if it has anything to do with an incedent that happened over a year ago, when I was taken into police custody because my name popped on an NCIC bulliten as "criminal alien, armed and dangerous". Some one had stolen my identity, was using my name and social, and pulling strongarm robberies up and down the east coast. I was detained until the FBI faxed a picture of the guy to the local police station.

Tuesday,
Sounds to me like you married a spoiled brat. In order for a marriage to work both partners have to be concerned happiness and well being of the other. Sounds to me like you're doing all the work trying to please some one that is basically hostile to your every word and deed.
The worst mistake you could make is to allow this kind of behavior to continue. Explaine to her in a loving manner that you married her because you love her and as a man you need affection, admiration and approval.
We men are easy to please, we just want to please our women and watch them be happy.
If she responds well to what you say and truly wants your marriage to work, then I suggest you buy her DR. Laura's new book, "The proper Care and Feeding of Husbands".
Don't laugh the woman has a way of making the seemingly difficult task of making any relationship work, a simple process of decisions and actions.
I have 20 years of marriage under my belt and would charge the gates of hell for my wife Sheila. She knows this. I know that she would do anything for me. The thing is we don't focus on what the other is doing for us, but rather what we are doing for the other.
Don't let this simmer. Get it out in the open soon and do so without any anger or sarcasm. Talk to her not at her.
I hope this will help.
